so if he leaves Alleva basically said sorry you aren't worth it.
I would hope LSU fans would respond to that by saying to Alleva, sorry Alleva you aren't worth it either, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

So your sources saying the exact opposite of what everyone else is saying
Everyone else is saying that it is not about the money and that the shite show at LSU is why he is leaving for equal money

What does holding all the cards mean to you?

Aranda and his family do love lsu and Baton Rouge. However, Aranda is not going to work under O anymore. This is a 100% fact.

kind of shows how stupid A&M is with the money they are willing to pay their coaching staff. there are no guaranteed wins.Fisher wasn't too good this pass season.

quote:no. That's what all the A&M sources are saying. They are trying to add a little gas to the fire. There has been zero mention from LSU's side that Aranda is unhappy here.

While he may be loyal, he also expects loyalty to be shown in return. LSU may not even need to match A&M's offer,
They made him the highest paid DC in the country after 1 year at LSU and he's due to get a raise on top of that. Was that not loyalty and a vote of confidence in him.
I love Aranda and want him to stay but how loyal is he really if he's using the threat of going to a division rival to squeeze more money out of LSU while already being the highest paid at his position.

It blows my mind that some people just shite on people on here that have a source and want to share with us. How childish do you have to be to do that? Get a fricking life.

I think most are poking fun at how little information is being sourced here. It boils down to the assertion that if LSU will pay the most it can win the services of Dave Aranda. That's basically every employment situation ever.
I personally found it funny that the source said Dave is a real loyal guy, unless someone else is going to pay him more.

Again, Fisher's $75 million wasn't paid with Athletic department money. The big money guys donated it to the program to get Jimbo. You are correct, there is no guaranteed it will work out. But it's not like it's gonna set us back 2 decades.

O should do what Miles did and donate some of his salary to keep Aranda.
Didn’t Miles do that? Seems so long ago...I can’t remember.
