Of all the preposterous narratives that have developed, this is the most hysterically irrational. It's beyond lame to tie the hiring of Coach O (because he happens to be a Cajun) to Louisiana's lack of infrastructure, racism, gold old boyism,lack of education, etc. It's a laughable narrative.
LSU has not hired a "Louisiana guy" since Stovall, and that was in a pinch. LSU fans want the best coach, period. Just because you saw a sidewalk fan on tv that can't name the qb say something supportive of Coach O doesn't make all these histrionic meltdowns true. You need to pull yourself together.
Coach O didn't just fall off a truck in Lafourche. He has been living the dream in Miami and LA and has a great national reputation. He is highly respected. His recruiting prowess and bond with his players are legendary. To use the word "racism" in relation to him is a disservice not to him, but to you.
Lastly, this is above your pay grade. If you want to pick the Coach, you need to apply as AD. Short of that you can be a man and accept the situation, or continue your irrational and emotion-based melt. Aleeva made the call, and now he gets to live with it.Same with you, you can live with it, or keep drawing these irrational, hysterical connect-the-dots- metaphors that just demonstrate that your critical thinking skills have been overwhelmed by your emotions.

Please.. Expand upon this with your knowledge. Enlighten me. At what point has Trump stated he was anti-education? Louisiana is a fricking stupid state. If it really bothers you then you should be motivated to do something about it and not hide behind insecurity.

I agree with OP .
Waited years to get rid of Miles , hoping this was our shot to go after top tier coach .
Even if O gets a great OC , it's going to take at least one full season to learn the offense and get recruits who can fit the offense .
The elevator is going down , get out while you can .
I love LSU - we all do .. that's why we are frustrated . The program pumps players into the NFL who were never coached properly while at LSU .
We have the talent , but no way to coach them .
