You’re right. Can’t wait to just call it “our offense”

He doesn’t even have an offense. It’s the Joe Moorhead/Sean Payton offense.

You can say this kind of thing about every coach, including Joe Moorhead and Sean Payton

Where do you think payton got his offense from?

Everyone gets it from somewhere and mixes in different things.

An oc should never stop learning and stealing stuff.

The 2019 offense got the plays in on time and did not have confusion to get plays off like in 2020 and 2021. Being competent to get the play on the field is as important as the play calling.

Because O didn’t know what it was and neither did our OC.

NVM that the 2019 offense ran no huddle and relied heavily on the same 5 skill players and 11 personnel almost exclusively while Sean Payton is famous for having lots and lots of personnel groupings.

And somehow have the Moorehead/Sean Payton offense at LSU again would be bad?

Brady brings more to the table than just a fast tempo, high scoring offensive schemes. He also worked wonders with the QBs and his reaction drills toned the WRs into an unprecedented world-class unit. Those guys stepped straight into the NFL and had success without missing a beat.

There are knocks on any coach including Brady, but he was as responsible for that season as Ensminger and Burrow were.

That said, I hope CBK is looking at Kendal Briles, but if he got Brady back I would not be even slightly disappointed. I just want Kelly to run his offense a little more new-school at LSU than he did at ND.

we ran pro style spread when he was here sprinkled with other concepts.

4 main branches of spread are:

10 pro style spread

2) air raid

3) spread option

4) power spread aka smashmouth spread

Brady without Burrow, Chase and CEH has been underwhelming

Good news is LSU isn’t signing Sam Darnold or Cam Newton to play for them next season
