Over Tom Herman. I just like the guy too much. Let him hire a badass offensive coordinator, retain Aranda, and let it ride. Having one of, if not the best, recruiters in the country as your head coach couldn't hurt either. All in for the big guy.

I thought the new OC called a pretty good game for his first time out

I just dont see paying Les Miles 13 million to go away, just to promote your cajun d line coach.

Im all for ceo, doing good this year, then bringing in someone with more upside.

Nah. We need a coach who has shown he can compete against top talent. Herman learned from Urban Meyer, beat Alabama as OSU OC, then won NC. Now he is kicking arse at Houston as HC and if his team beats Louisville, LSU has to put all of their chips in before Texas does. Either way, I hope Herman is at Texas or LSU.

I know it sounds crazy. I realize Herman is the better choice.

I just like Ed Orgeron too much. I love the guy. I can't think of a better coach for LSU.

Now, if we did hire Herman I'd be ecstatic. But I'd be more than happy if Orgeron was retained though.

You can't make a business decision with your emotions. That's how you end up holding onto a Les Miles, 3-4 years too long. I don't have to like the coach. I want a coach that will get the job done.

It's not that I'm a victim of the moment or anything. I'll admit that the game last night made me want him more, but I just like the guy too much. He's perfect for LSU.

While I'm ecstatic about the way they played on Saturday, I want to see how the team performs in the next few games before deciding. Regardless, Geaux Tigers!

Why is it Coach O has to beat Bama to get a look but you guys already said youd still want Herman even if he lost to Louisville??

Thise FSU and OU wins arent looking so monumental right now. Just wondering why O has to beat the best?

Because the fanbase has already made up their mind that Herman is the next Saban. I think he's a hell of a coach and he'd be my next choice after Orgeron though.

If we can slammed by OM & Bama at home, at night, will you still feel the same? Do you like him that much?

LSU fans are always saying we can't risk hiring a coordinator. Herman isnt experienced enough. Aranda isn't ready. An FCS coach or mid-major coach isn't quality enough. But after one game they want to hire the D-line coach.

Coach O killed it Saturday night. I've got nothing but love
but it was one game. We're in the easier part of the schedule. Let's see how the season plays out. Imho, Herman is still the one.
