The defense didn’t not cost WVU the Iowa State game or Okie State
When you keep going three and out bc of bad play calling esp when up three scores your defense is going to be exhausted bc they haven’t rested.

Im a TX State fan and i know who we are. We have a chance to be bigger than what we are, but we have to start somewhere and our options are limited.
Bottom line is we got a guy that knows TX recruiting and has shown he can run a pretty decent offense. TX State has been awful, so if he gets us to 6/7/8 wins ill take it.

Isn't he stepping into an absolute mess in San Marcos? I don't follow closely but I hear stories of athletic administration issues, training staff, issues, and university president issues. Do you think Spavital is the guy to fix bobcat football?

At least going by what I saw when I poked around BobcatFans the negative stories are supposedly being fed to a couple San Marcos media folk by an extremely pissed off Everett Withers. It should probably be taken with a grain of salt b/c it seems it would be a way bigger story if all that stuff is true.

That was my guess as well, coming from everett. But if even half of it is true, it's pretty bad. Teis is a terrible AD and absolutely needs to be fired.

The minute Spav arrived (though having a derth of RB talent) that all went to shite. But yay points.
I hate this hurry-up crap. Holgs seemed like he was finally getting it, and joked about being “kicked out of the club” before he brought in Jake.
There’s a reason that these games are stupid score-fests, and why teams like Iowa State can win them.
