Can we just get Herman and Jimbo in a room with LSU and Texas and do "rock, paper, scissors" until we each get a coach we want?

Gives us one or the other and be done with it.

I still don't see why it's assumed Texas is his dream job when he is from Ohio and went to college in California.

Sounds like UT is making the exact same mistakes that LSU did last year. Putting all their eggs in one basket (jimbo/Herman), hanging onto the current coach too long thereby allowing him to do just enough to keep his job, and waiting too late to start trying to make a change.

* and letting too much info leak.

There's always so much douchebaggery in a UT HC search. It's always "X candidate would crawl over broken flaming glass to coach at UT. If we offer X he will be the next UT coach. Done deal."

Barf.

Yeah, I can't think of any other schools with openings that are loaded with talent and ready to compete for championships.

The first two men from the left were from California (Herman was born in Ohio, oops).

Those two men are Tom Herman and Ricky Williams.

Well he looks thrilled to be apart of that program and you can definitely tell in his face he's either thinking of taking a shite or "one day this will all be mine and I can ride a hay bale of my own."

Didn't he get his Master's at Texas?

Also, I see people who are saying that Texas is keeping Strong around too long, "allowing him to do just enough to keep his job." What, exactly, is he doing? They're coming off a loss. They're 5-5. Even if they win their final two, they'll only be 7-5... hardly enough to keep his job.

Don't forget "still has to find a defensive coordinator to replace the fired one, while risking every top-notch candidate turning down a possible one-and-done situation."

Guys I'm listening to Geoff Ketchum from orange bloods talk about this red flag on Austin radio right now.

Ketch is saying Herman is a young guy that likes to have a good time and drink. He says thats the red flag. Texas is concerned about image problems.

Herman likes to go out on the town has had a couple beers before doing interviews, etc. They are concerned with him being out in Austin drinking it up going to shows etc. They are scared of Herman Sark'ing himself.

He also says unequivocally Herman wants the job. All Texas has to do is pick up the phone.

I can tell you one thing since Ketchum is behind these reports it's probably all bullshite.

Ketchum is the absolute worse.
