Tucker/Franklin/Napier/Aranda feel similar… pretty but unproven over the long-term.

We cannot hope that the new guy has the right makings of a great coach, he needs to be proven. Known for his toughness; a true professional.

I’m still swinging for the fences and think coach Brian Kelly makes the most sense.

Give the man what he wants. Make him the highest paid coach in the land, then get out of his way, and let him and Walker Howard work their LSU magic.

Kelly can have us playing for the championship again in 2023.

He hasn't even been there a year...this is absurd.

The jury is still out on Sark but it’s way too early to call him a bust

Sark was pretty clearly a "nobody actually wants to come here so I guess I'll hire a Saban assistant?" hire. Nothing about his coaching career says that he'd succeed.

As for Kelly...he'd be good but he's not coming. Legacy is really important to him. It wouldn't take a lot at this point to make him ND's best coach. We're a school that doesn't even particularly care if the coach wins a national title.

Sark was a high risk hire.

I just don’t think we want to roll the dice again with the LSU program.

Saban went 6-6 and lost to ULM his first season at Bama.

Culture changes and roster overhauls take a year or two. Texas was in terrible shape.

Sark is 0-4 his last 4 games. The program is in a tail spin now towards the end of the season.

Texas is still in terrible shape. There's only 2 CFB Programs with more neurotic boosters than Texas. Bama and TAMU, and after the past HC catastrophes here, they won't wait very long.

Not a popular opinion, but I actually think Sark will be fine and do well at Texas. I fully expect to see some improvement from them next year.

Tom Herman won 8 games per year at UT.

Sark inherited a much more talented roster than Herman.

As LSU fans, we need Texas to implode… If they ever get the right coach, oh well…

They pulled the trigger too fast on Herman IMO. Them knowing that the SEC move was happening probably caused some unnecessary urgency behind the scenes for them.

He really didn’t deserve to get fired. We shall see how it all plays out I guess.

Herman is a good coach. He will end up having a good career somewhere.

I agree. His problem is his personality is similar to Mullen….people just don’t like him

So wherever he is at he’s gonna have a short leash because people will turn on you quick if they don’t like you to begin with and then the losses start to pile up

I’d like to know how some of your minds work.

Do some of you not understand how transition works? 9 games in and it’s a failure? Some of you are downright exhausting

Texas remains in terrible shape. Their lines and their line recruiting are non-existent.
