The Tennessee HC job is just not desirable. I understand the fans outrage over Schiano, but he was the best they could get. They had to get someone with baggage because no one else wants to touch it. We saw the same thing with the last two hires, guys way down the list, maybe not even on it at the beginning.

Step one is Schiano not being our coach, that alone helps UT immensely, without the backlash though, Schiano becomes our coach.
Secondarily, Schiano wasn't going to leave until Ohio state season ends, after early signing period is over. Our recruiting class based on that alone would be frickED
Kiffin/Leach could have terms agreed to today, and will come here regardless.

Tennessee needs to follow the Nebraska blueprint. Fire your inept AD, and bring in a legit one who can hire a solid coach. You're a good program that deserves better.
