UT OL Coach Headed to Notre Dame

quote:

Notre Dame: Sources tell me Tennessee offensive line coach Harry Hiestand has accepted the offensive line job at Notre Dame. The process at Notre Dame is slow, so an official announcement from Notre Dame isn't likely coming today

this reminds me of when Franchione was a dead man walking at A&M and he had to resort to hiring a guy had been selling insurance as his DC.

The offense line under coach HH didn't improve in his two years. He's a midwest guy so he's going back home. Good luck to him.

Hiestand did poorly, but the problem is we'll almost certainly find someone worse.

Again, I hope we hire some recruiters and let the new coach make good hires assuming there's a coaching change after next season.

1. It got worse
2. It was considerably better with the previous coaching staff.

Indiana is directly north of Tennessee. How the hell is that the midwest?

First piece of good news in a while.

Goodbye to you, you fat fricktard Harry Hiestand. I only wish you had been fired.

Worst recruiter and worst position coach on this godawful staff. How the hell you were retained, I have no idea.

Derek "I'm a fricking Retard" Dooley thought he did an admirable job last season.

Don't unpack those boxes Jay Graham. You're still welcome back in Columbia.

Graham didn't have to unpack. He is home now. The new coach will retain Graham.

Great news! One could say not only did we not see any improvement in the o line over time, but they actually got worse.

Looking forward to someone else.
