Tennessee offensive coordinator Alex Golesh has accepted an offer to be South Florida’s coach, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ . With the 38-year old Golesh, Tennessee led nation in total & scoring offense this season

His first order of business needs to be cleaning up that awful mess that they’ve had for uniforms over the last decade.

I think he’s one of a couple guys on Tennessee’s staff that were GAs at Mizzou when Heupel was there. He’s pretty young to be getting a HC job given that he’s not all that experienced as a coordinator and the experience he does have is under an offensive coach.

He could do well, but odds are against it, IMO.

Yup, two hires in a row of OC’s who didn’t actually call plays. Jeff Scott worked out so well they had to do it again.

We got Deion our getting a p5 job and you’re trying to use logic? There are no rules anymore.

Nope...when Heupel was at MIZZOU, Golesh was Tight Ends/Receivers coach at Iowa State. Interesting note...I did not know that he was born in Russia.

I had him confused with another guy on tennessee's staff Alec Abeln.
