The last time TBL tweeted that emoji and it was happening was Freeman and it didn't. He has sources but it doesn't mean anything till a contract is signed.

Let’s say Bruce called Lincoln and they spoke. Is Lincoln supposed to tell Bruce that he’s leaving? Hell no. He still has two games to coach.
Perhaps they did speak and this was the source of the post. Doesn’t mean that it’s accurate.
As long as we don’t get a Jimbo-style denial, it seems Riley is still in play.

Feldman broke the news that Lincoln was going to OU as the OC. He also broke the news that Lincoln was going to be OU's HC.
Feldman is saying it's not going to happen. You should probably take it at face value.

I've been saying for 3 week that as a fan base we are in for a rude awakening. We aren't a "top 3 or 5 job in the country". We're one of twenty or thirty "destination jobs" and we aren't just going to steal a coach from one of the others. We'll get a coach from a lower end P5 school or a top G5 coach like Napier.

I hate to say this was my original assumption as well. I’ve now gotten hyped AF over the Lincoln shite because real ‘insiders’ are fanning the flames.
I was laughing at the LSU people who said Lincoln was a legit possibility several weeks to a few months ago.
For once I’d love to be proven wrong.
