Look at his two proteges, are they tearing it up in the SEC?

They are new or at least will be new(summer 2012), they still don't understand and are still in that shock/awe state from the outside looking in.

Just like tOSU they think getting someone from the SEC means they will win

and the most important of all: he comes from the SABAN TREE.

Muschamp = 3-5 in the SEC
Dooley = 4-12 in the SEC
Bobboy Williams = 6-15 in the Big 10

Combined conference record = 13-32

have you seen this tree? bobby williams, fired. Dooley, close to be fired, Will muschamp, people not happy with him. Jimbo, if he doesn't make a big jump and win the a.c.c. next year, probably fired.

Saban may be the best. however, his development of coaches hasn't been.

TAMU would be advised to have Larry Fedora of Southern Mississippi on the search list.

Fedora is a native of College Station, so that would be a homecoming for him.

I am not sure where Jackie Sherrill lives now but I don't think it's Starkville. Could be wrong, though

A&M's defense was better than its offense this year.

Here's my short list for TAMU. I think they would be well advised to look at one of these guys. They won't cost $4 million a year, and they are tough-minded, good coaches that will help them be competitive in the SEC pretty quickly: Jim Grobe, Paul Rhoads, Charlie Strong, Willie Taggart. If they hire Sumlin, they better hire a home run defensive coordinator.

TAMU has lost 57% of their games all time vs. the SEC. LSU is 27-20 and Arky is 41-24 vs. TAMU. TAMU has won 3 of their last 15 bowl games and have lost 6 Cotton bowls in a row. I think I would look somewhere else for my dream job. Their fight song also sounds just like the theme to Yogi Bear.
