"Stuck with Miles" question

How do people on this board equate stuck with Miles and having 9 and 10 win seasons year after year = mediocrity I see this all the time, people saying have fun with only 10 wins a year. The next sentence is have fun with a mediocre coach. I am not saying the man is a genius, but come on I think some people are stretching things a little bit.
ETA: Would it make everyone feel better if we won 10 games a year and beat Fla and Bama each year? Is the we suck cause of that? Or would we still suck cause we lost to someone else?

What I meant was if we win 9 or 10 games under Miles ever year, how does that equate to we suck. Forget about performance on the field, I am talking about record wise.

Who says Miles will keep having 9 and 10 win seasons?
9 or 10 wins is useless if there is no chance to win our division.

How dare people ever want to beat UF or Bama again? fricking spoiled babies wanting to at least contend for the SEC West every now and then. Don't these spoiled babies know that Miles is perfect and that going 8-9 in his last 17 SEC regular season games is the best that anybody can hope for?!!!! FEAR DA HAT!!!

Most years 10-2 will get you to sec title game. The past couple of years have been an exception.

Heres the answer for you plain and simple: The only teams that had more or equal talent than us was UF and Bama. Our team was not prepared for Florida, the Bama situation was a little more sticky, but coaching was still a factor. The Ole Miss game was terrible. We have, in relation of talent, one of the top 2-4 teams in the country. We have, in terms of facilities, a top ten team. We should be giving teams of equal talent a dogfight. We showcased that marginally in the first half of two games against teams of equal talent. We lost a team of lesser talent where a quarter of their starters were from our state, and that stings. Furthermore, we had an inability to dominate teams that had vastly inferior talent. This is SCARY for the amount of money TAF is spending on the team and the amount of talent we have.
To the next point, this team has no discipline, plays sloppy, and has poor play calling and coaching. If there was ever a very empty 9-3 year it was this year. We only beat three teams that ended up with winning records and NO teams that were better than 7-5. These are scary statistics. Until the coaching staff shows it is worth its weight and not just riding the coattails of the talent of the team, yes, we are "stuck" with Miles.

do you think we've gone 10-2 the last couple years? Might want to check on that again. We're 8 games behind Bama in the last two years in SEC play and 7 behind UF. Thats pretty pathetic.

I think this sarcastic message has had its effect on me.
I am now convinced that we will never win the west/sec/national title with Miles. I think the way we should go about winning ( now that Miles is entrenched here) is to assassinate Saban and Meyer.
Obviously they are not going anywhere and nor is Miles and some folks(the alumni/boosters/RANTARDS) have money to buyout Miles and the desire as well.
Use this money and desire instead to get rid of the other coaches and our coach continues to win.
The only problem I see is that they might hire other coaches ( and since any coach is better than Miles) - we should continue this habit till they give up and have their players run around the field themselves and then it will be a pure matchup of Talent vs Talent and we will prevail!!

That was my whole point of the thread, it seems that now how successful we are is based on sec titles and bcs titles. I base it on where we were, and where we are now. We are improving some. Yes I am not blind to the problems on the offense, and ther performances have been bad at times. I still see this year as a success relative to where we were. Not just on championships, if that makes sense.

Its ok if we never win the SEC West again as long as we are better than when Curley Hallman was here. Nobody can expect us to realistically compete with UF or Bama. Particularly Bama, because Saban is in year 3 there now and Miles has only been here 5 years. He hasn't had time to build up to what Saban has.

when Meyer and Miles took over the 2 programs we were clearly above UF as well. Saban left for the NFL, Zook got fired.

Since overall record is what matters, LSU should drop out of the SEC and just play 12 games against the likes of Tulane.
That way, LSU will be 10-2, 11-1 most seasons and won't have to worry about losing the SEC west by 3 games or 5 games every season.
We can point to our record and say, how can that be mediocre???

Correction I see that was added.
Gotta love that 8-8 sec record the last two years. Also remove the fricking rent a wins and Miles record would really showing its true color.
