I would never think he’d leave ND but this is coming from a very well connected Texas booster

The thought of Brian Kelly dealing with those boosters is cracking me up.

Didn't the UT AD confirm Herman will be back for 2021?

Why would anyone leave a winning Notre Dame program for a losing Texas? ND is a way better job IMHO.

I think Kelly would only bolt for the nfl at this point.

I don't see him dealing with that shite at Texas.

I believe he only makes 1.9 million per year at Notre Dame, so that could certainly be a reason

Another could be that IMO the ceiling at Notre Dame is making the playoff. They’ll likely never be able to win a championship.

I'd rather be "poor" making $1.9 at ND then make more and be miserable at UT. It's pretty obvious at this point that UT is toxic. There's no other explanation.

If true, you can bet Texas would drop some big bucks to get Freeman as DC.

Too many billionaire donors trying to play GM. UT is going to have a hard time convincing a top P5 coach to put up with that shite. Too bad for Herman; he could have had a championship at LSU.
