An MSU fan mocking Southern Miss is terribly amusing. It's like watching one trailer in a trailer park calling another trashy because they couldn't afford a vinyl skirt to hide their wheels while the first one could.

Mullen is only the 3rd coach in State history to go to back to back bowls- and only our 2nd NYD bowl in 70 years
and it will be 3 in a row next year

USM fans that I met...LOVE.. Fedora. He is a good-looking charmer. He would fit at Ole Ms, but not Sumlin. Never thought Nutt would, either. Ole Ms grads are uppity doctors and lawyers who are known NOT to give up their $$$$. IMHO

Like I say, a vinyl skirt. In the grand scheme of things, the separation between Ole Miss, State, and USM is there, but not nearly a great some of you seem to think it is. You're splitting hairs between very little chance of ever playing in a BCS game in State's case and almost no chance in USM's case.
Being from Mississippi myself, and knowing the difficulty all three universities face in competing athletically and academically, I find it pretty sad when the little brother in the SEC has to go pick on his 4-year-old cousin down the street just so he can say he is better than someone, especially when almost everyone else from outside of the state sees this kind of posturing for exactly what it is.

I can also say we're better than Fla- who we have won more games than the last 2 seasons
Also, throw in Tenn, Kentucky, Vandy, and Mississippi...and we will likely still have more wins than all of them after next year as well
How is that for posturing?

Those stats say more about how pitiful your history is than how good your coach is.
