would be entertaining but still not sure I'm sold on him. Granted he's been at Washington St and Texas Tech before that, he still hasn't done much noteworthy in two weak conferences, just 2 10+ win seasons in 18 years of coaching. I just don't know if he'd fare well in the meat grinder of the SEC West, especially at the type of program that would hire him (Ole Miss, Arkansas, State, etc).

Leach is an academic at his core. I think Vanderbilt is the spot for him.

Campbell would be a very underwhelming hire. He's a solid program builder, but they need more than that at Arkansas.

Except it's a lot easier to recruit at Baylor than Iowa State. Also, Baylor had big recent success that recruits remember watching.
