No flame, but what has Sarkisian done since Washington that was worth anything?

Even at UW most of his teams were 7-9 wins every year.

The calls weren't the issue most of the year, the OL was. Maybe we should be replacing Cregg. He underwhelmed though injuries and suspensions likely had a lot to do with that.

The calls absolutely were an issue as were the personnel groupings. It's also possible to scheme around OL deficiencies, which LSU did not appear to be able to accomplish.

He should be replaced as soon as possible, but he won't.

Cregg always underperforms, yet he'll go nowhere.

LSU went with the ZBS system, which makes sense if they're going spread, but they went ZBS with a multiple-look offense, including under center.

Mystifying.

Hmmm. I'm a LSU fan. I don't like the sound of that.

Don’t freak out, I think we are getting an actual D-Line coach with experience and meatball may be moving back to outside linebackers. Yes, I know Ed coaches D-Line but he needs to micro manage.

Man I'm done with this fricking team. That guy is NOT a good OC. How can anyone on this staff not see that? Just look at his PCing yesterday. FFS. UCF was so overmatched in that game they held/PI on almost every pass play in first half.

Ensminger crawls into the old Les Miles pussified mode and gets conservative giving team life they had no business having life in that game yesterday. His playcalling is absolutely awful at times but seriously, who would not look good against UCF yesterday? That team was not that good and I'll bet even with their starting QB probably wouldn't win 3 SEC games.

They beat Auburn but AU is AU. They shite the bed all the time and embarrass the SEC.

If E is LSU through and through he will realize it's best to step down and let someone else do this job. He does not have the capability to adjust gameplans if a defense has it figured out at the beginning. If you don't believe me? Guy has dropped 2 goose eggs against Bama. He does everything he can to scheme the game beforehand but is piss poor at making game time personnel adjustments on the fly.

I don't mind him staying on the staff but he needs to not be our OC. He's mediocre at best and yeah, I realize offense was on fire past 2 games but that doesn't excuse in those 2 games how many bad play calls he made in each. Like in the UCF game at the beginning when LSU couldn't grab a yard or two on a run play he'd line 3-4 wrs out and hand the ball off in shotgun on 3rd and 1 to get us stuffed because the defense was not fooled on a spread run like that. They didn't even lineup on the WRs because they could look at LSU personnel and know it was a run every single time. You can literally look at our personnel groupings and call the plays before they happen all season. That's way too predictable if my no coaching arse can do it imagine what defenses see on film.

They didn't even respect the pass and Burrow was lighting them up in the game they sold out knowing that's what we'd do and in typical E fashion, he doesn't adjust to that to make an easy over-the-top pass in a stacked box later in the game to make a huge pass play happen. Then gets pussified crawls up in a corner with no trust on a QB that is shredding that defense to allow them to crawl back into a game UCF was getting dominated in.

This really pisses me off because it's this type of shite that makes you root for a bad offensive performance before necessary changes will be made. I hate saying it but it's true. Now you're stuck with E another year and will lay another goose egg up against Bama. Keep the BBQ buddies rolling O.

Who ever thinks the play calling was good this season is either a babbling idiot or crazy. I don't think of myself as any kind of football genius but I can call 90% of LSU runs and pass plays so I know defensive coaches are better at it than me.

I agree with you, but I will say this: OL woes and not having a workhorse at RB really hurt us in the red zone this year. I thought playcalling was horrid, don't get me wrong, but if you aren't afraid of the running game powering it in, you can do so much more to defend against the pass. The possession with the fumbled snap and the dropped TD, the only play I could put on Ensminger is the run with Brossette because me and all of America knew where that play was going and knew it was going for a loss.

only thing i could see on the defensive side would be Dennis Johnson?

Would not wanna see Busch go and hopefully Raymond doesn’t get any calls for DC

Here to say I read that wrong as "not at all on the O side".

He's saying not ALL the changes are happening on offense.

Auburn was the team that beat both Georgia and Alabama.
They lost to UCF.

I can agree with a lot of what you said...

But I’m pretty sure LSU started running the ball in the second half because the defense literally had no 2 deep. Fatigue is an issue even when you’re playing with a full roster.

They were playing a team that could score quickly and were trying to keep the UCF offense off the field and kill clock.

Not here to argue, just looking at it from a different direction

And that different direction makes the most sense. Eat that clock like a fat kid eats cake. You aren't winning by 21, but you are still winning, not risking another pick 6 and pushing their worn out d line around like melted butter

Scared to play. Been fun watching scared offense for 10 years.
