Kendall runs the same system without the radioactivity and baggage. And he's a lot younger.

This needs to stop. The dude helped to cover up rape. He didn't get hit with recruiting violations. We're talking rape. This can't and won't happen.

That's not exactly what happened. But that's the public perception so.... it doesn't really matter. Hiring Briles would make us look more inbred than we already look.

Well hell, Alleva hired O without a search so Applewhite would fit right in. Then, as soon as Aranda bolts, the idiot can grab Chavis back. There's his top tier staff.

Well, it'd be tough to tell if he was hitting the sauce standing next to most Cajuns.

O and Chavis are mortal enemies after the Tennessee situation.

I was wondering if anyone would mention him, though I am not sure if the name is spelled right.

Ed O should know him well from his USC days, and I think Sark would be eager to return to college football.

He is certainly an outstanding offensive mind, just hope he has taken care of the alchol problems.

The problem with Sark is that he knows Kiffin is gone and he is next up at Bama. I honestly don't know if there's a number that overcomes that.

If we want a power spread guy, Applewhite is probably the easiest to get if Houston doesn't offer him their HC job.

Frickin perfect - the guy that got fired by Saban is gonna come in and call plays against Bama's D. Great.

Said the same thing. Saban fired his arse and he hasn't done shite... Riding the coat tails of Herman is all he's doing. If he was worth a shite Mack brown wouldn't have made him co-oc at texas. He's a name nothing more

Shut up. Stop parroting the media. We're not asking him to run the program and watch over players. He'd be the OC, not team babysitter.

See Enos, Dan. He left his job to be the OC at Arkansas for a big raise.

Saban put the conservative handcuffs on him. What he ran there looks nothing like he would be running today. That's no guarantee of success, but he is going to get a good job this cycle. Doesn't have to be here, but he will.

Chip Lindsey? Maybe Rich Rodriguez or Mark Helfrich if they are fired.

Rex Isn't An OC

That took be aback, too. After I reread it though, I think he meant Roman was Rex Ryan's scapegoat even though he made a couple of marginal QB's look like world beaters or at least very good.

Chavis was let go by Kiffin in 2008 after 14 yrs as TN's DC. He's never forgiven those guys. He holds a grudge pretty well. I don't think it's mutual but in hearing his family talk it's definitely a frosty relationship.
