1.) Hire Les as head coach
2.) Add Tee Martin as assistant head coach/offensive coordinator
3.) Bring back the Chief as DC

Let Les bring back some stability for 3-5 seasons, and then have Tee take over a somewhat solid situation.

Gruden approved.

Sounds good to me. I could get on board with this. Rather have Steele come back home though.

They will be scraping the bottom of the barrel after the Schiano debacle. I sure hope they fire their AD. What a cluster.

Win-win for you guys. Les brings some respect back and if Tee isn't the answer we can fire up the GRUMOR machine again.

Why? Suit had nothing to do with Miles, Miles threw a fit when lsu wouldn't keep him. Chavis has stated several times that he and les are friends and told him he loved him in 2015 aTm game.

Tee Martin as Coach in Waiting.

Les Miles beats Bama for the next 4 years.

Chavis was a bad fit at A&M, he had great defenses at LSU and Tennessee.

This is actually not a bad deal here. Most UT fans I know want Tennessee blood back in the program and this would fix that. The same fans want to go back to power, pro style football. Les and Tee would fix that as well.

1. Give Joe Alleva to Tenn. and agree to pay 25% of his salary in exchange for a year's supply of taffy from Gatlinburgh.

2. Allow Joe to locate a coach no one else wants to hire (Alleva's specialty). However, Joe can find one without allegations of past pedophillia cover ups, which seems to be UT's only hang up with Schiano.

FIFY.
At Tenn, Chavis was in the prime of his career. Indeed, he had some good defenses at Tenn. While at LSU, Chavis was reaching the latter stages of his career. Chavis had good defenses at LSU largely because of the talent he inherited. He didn't recruit much at LSU. Now at A&M, he's basically at the tail end of his career and his defenses reflect it.
