So who makes the hire?

If Woodward is handcuffed and we don’t have a president, who does the interviewing? I’m sorry if this has been discussed already, maybe I missed it.
Surely the BoS doesn’t conduct interviews and Landry isn’t going to be doing it. Does the interim president do this? What coach would want to come to LSU if he doesn’t even know who his boss will be yet? I’m sure it’ll take months to get a new president and AD.

Landry said the BoS will form a committee.
When asked for comment, the head of the board was unaware that were even going to do it.
So in other words, we have not even begun a search.

Hopefully the search committee has actual football people on it. And the board accepts their recommendation without insisting on a certain candidate.

That's the hope, why else make a committee? hopefully some of the smarter ex players, maybe coaches, not politicians, lawyers or academics.
