So, who are some good candidates to replace Johnny Jones?

It needs to happen with the quickness. If Les can get fired for 2-2 with competitive losses, how does Jones make it back from an unearned free trip to the Bahamas unscathed?

Started a thread about the same time you did, but below are my top 5 right now:
1. Avery Johnson - would be nice to return the favor to Alabama and have him return home.
2. Kermit Davis - probably my realistic first choice.

LSU is spending all our $$$ on hiring fball coaches and staff. We will NOT have the $$$ to get a good HC unless we just luck up with some asst who will come cheap like JJ did. Actually, I do not even think JJ will be fired this season.

Losing arse on penny stocks instead of making money on something a bit more expensive. Paying a good coach and having a good team would make the program profitable. Paying shitty coaches for shitty results will almost always net shitty ticket sales and shitty offers for tournaments.
