My guess is that Chow has a multi-year contract with UCLA at a higher salary than Utah. If they fire him they would owe the difference.

pressuring him to just step down so they don't have to pay him would be my guess. UCLA is a complete disaster

I'm hoping Neuhisel gets canned after this year and UCLA hires Mike Leach. I think he'd be perfect for UCLA.

Rick NewWeasel is a travesty of a head coach. But he's the golden boy, he has some shiny white teeth, a good head of hair, a cool sweater vest and so he can sell his energy to some poor college administrator.

This. UCLA got what they deserve when they hired him. He took a CU team that competed for the NC every year and led them to mediocrity before he was hired away by Washington and did the same there with an icing of NCAA issues.
Neuheisel and Kiffin are two of the biggest nitwits in college football. Must be tough to be a fan in Los Angeles these days.
