Tulane's roster this season is one of those spit and bailing wire roster constructions, and they could make the playoff if they win out. It's been pretty impressive. Does have some stinkers in there this season however.

Plus, Tulane is a step above UL.

He's recognized as being "an old styled football coach. Hard nosed, a football coach's football coach." I much as I dislike Tulane, Tulane is a big step above ULL. He's projected to be a head coach at some place in the SEC sooner rather than later.

I think he’s got an equal chance of being the next Saban as he does turning out like Billy. That’s not a dig. Quite the contrary, because I gave Billy 0% chance of being a superstar at Florida.

Billy had already been fired as a coordinator when he made it to Florida. Sumrall has seen success everywhere, and he’s intense.

If Kiffin doesn’t make it to BR, I would not be disappointed with Sumrall here.

Honestly Gsta, he is a really good, old school coach that doesn’t take any shite. But what makes him a fit in BR might not in Gainesville. We love good defense and you guys love a wide open offense so who know? I thought you guys might go after Kliff, what happened to that?

Overall solid, high energy and wins a lot, but sometimes his teams win despite really sloppy games. Not sure if you can get by with that in the SEC.
