It was always going to be difficult to pull someone from a well established position. I thought Riley might be possible if OU wasn't willing to match what LSU was offering and the fact that they have a tough road ahead of them in the SEC. I still have confidence that Woodward is going to hire a good coach. He's probably known for weeks that Riley wasn't coming to be honest.

Bill O'Brien is a great hire. The fans of Alabama will be thrilled he is the new LSU coach. Rumor is he and Pete Golding are really close. Maybe Woodward can get both of them. The fans will go wild. Of Alabama of course.
