I can't find any confirmation that Martinez was hired, and today's decision by Urban might be why. Urban was interviewing for the DC position though, so that's a sign that this could've been a sudden decision.

The person I don't want there, even though he's a rat, is Petrino. He'd leave Arkansas in a second for that job because he's such a bastard...but damn he would be intimidating with that talent and recruiting base.

Why would gonzales know and not strong?
I think they both knew but were also told they would not get the job.
My guess is shanahan, with meyer returning to coaching if Kelly can't get it done.
