Yeah as far as candidates go he's not a shocking name
But I'm going with Saban for now. I'm almost certain it's a troll, but like I said, I like a good riddle every now and then and Nick checks almost every box.

Lets be honest the only defensive minded coach that would excite me is Saban, i would try and hire an elite offensive minded coach if i couldn't get Saban. wtf would they hire campbell he just got fired for sucking. Saban isn't coming and i dont think they spend all that money to hire a hope and a prayer. My gut is they knew who the new coach was when they fired BK or had a strong feeling who that person was gonna be. If i had to guess its Kiffin or Brohm or maybe Heupel one of those three, backup plan if all fails is Tulane man

1. He already recruits top 10 at Tennessee
2. Offense is fun for kids to play in. That includes QBs, RBs, and WRs.
3. OL play is good and he consistently has a top 3 SEC tun game
4. Defense hasn't been good this year, but he has had at top 3 defense in the SEC the prior 2 years.
5. Has beaten Bama twice, beat LSU like a drum in Tiger Stadium, and went to the playoffs

You’re probably right.
But it’s kind of like imagining winning the Powerball… we all know we’re not going to, but it’s still fun sometimes to think about.
All of us know Saban is highly highly highly unlikely and recognize it’s just dreaming. But it’s hard to resist the slimmest thought of it happening.
