The only reason I'm still holding out a faint shimmer of hope is this.....
F King swings a big dick, and for this dude to come out so early in the process saying this, has me believing that Herman has to be in this shite. Just has to be. I don't see anyone telling F King, shut the frick up, we got this.
Or at least, I hope not.

It's Herman. He's playing us all. It's his genius on display. He probably doesn't want shite leaked like last year, so he's masterminded ways to throw us off the trail. All that we hear is that he's not coming, but without any concrete reasons why. We evidently were going to offer him within the next 2 days a day ago. What happened to that? SOB has all of us grasping at air, only talking about Jimbo and Fedora as real candidates. Who wouldn't want that guy as the coach?

Texas is reporting that they're cooling on him as well, so how does that fit?

What leaks? Are you referring to the Advocate being told the following? That doesn't seem significant, I can't imagine how you could draw conclusions one way or the other based on this. It's pretty vague and general.

Not happening. Herman is out. Jimbo has been offered but is likely leveraging himself with us, and fedora is next in line. Coming directly from lots of insiders on prem board.

A major play on the part of LSU for Herman makes sense to me because of the connection with Aranda. I'm not big on rumors but I have to say It is entertaining reading them. Can't wait for the press conference. (whenever that will be)
