A man can always dream... For Leech to be SLU's coach, that is. I wouldn't wish Nutt on anybody. After what he's done at Ole Miss (a lot of nothing), I wouldn't be surprised if he had trouble finding success at a high school (a la Curley Hallman).

Assistants in div 2 are usually just looking for a start. If a solid coach would like to give it a shot, he could have his picking.

This is the 2nd largest school in the state. A football state. There are shitloads of talent that come from this state, especially in this area. The fanbase would be much larger if it was not a commuter school. All it would take would be one elite year, fluke or not, to jump start the athletic growth of the school. The potential is there. It isnt going to be over night but its how you look at the situation to call it a no good job.

That' not going to happen. They have almost 16k students and passed a student athletic fee. Funding, while always tight at the in-state schools, will not be an issue. It's a good job and they have good young talent on the roster. The right coach should be able to get things going in the right direction pretty quickly.
