The data says the Bears defense was just as bad the 2 seasons following Tucker.
These. People. Do. Not. Exist. They don’t. Who is banging the drum for Tucker to be hired? Provide a link, please.
I think Tucker is a fine coach who will do solid at MSU. I wouldn’t take him above at least 6-7 other candidates. That’s not being an acolyte, it’s common sense.

Fully agree. O’Brien is possibly the worst option out there. Tucker wouldn’t excite me but would take wait and see with him.

The point is that LSU should never, ever be put in a position of hiring this mediocrity. Ever.

Let's call it for what it is. His acolytes are people that support people solely based on their skin color in everything, rather than their accomplishments. It's true because if you look at Tucker's coaching history, as you stated, it's horrible. So either they support based on color or there is not one single brain cell of critical thinking skills to be had with any of them.

Yep. That's why LSU Football has been forced to only hire white HCs since 1893. First black football player in 1971. No skin involved. Glad they don't see color.

Totally agree. Lynchings, slavery, Tulsa massacre, segregation, poll taxes, separate entrances, water fountains, bus seating, etc is all make belief. Whites have it the hardest and are the true victims. They've bent over backwards being kind, fair and generous to the blacks.

I think the so called “experts” in media hold most of the blame. They pushed what I believe is “fake news” narrative that President Tate was forcing a hire because Tucker is black. I’ve not seen any proof that president Tate actually said that, but I may be wrong but did see some of the people in media.
I don’t trust the media as they clearly have an agenda. I don’t hate Tucker but he shouldn’t even be in the conversation of top candidates for LSU. He’s a good coach just not proven as HC and his record not that good.
Just hire the best coach available.

The talent gap does not match this beat down. Plus u have to recruit to keep the talent gap in check. Face it he is not ready for prime time.
