Tomlin, Gruden, Rhule, Brady, etc.

Why not Mike Vrabel? Give him 10 mil/year and see what he can do

Lol I’d love to see what your troll was before you edited it. Bill Walsh? Mike Ditka?

I dont Think Rhule is any less realistic than Saban in 2006.

What if the wheel really fall off and he’s shitcanned or just wants out? He’s 4-5 but he could easily lose another 5-6 games.

5-11 7-10 may not cut it.

All of you are way off...

The answer and savior is Jim Mora.

There is a difference between “not realistic” and simply “unlikely”.

Rhule is “not likely”, but he’s been a successful college coach and is now finding things difficult in the pros. It is not unrealistic that he could return to college, but with the timing not likely.

Billichek is unrealistic. There is absolutely no reason at all to think he’s going to suddenly leave the pros to coach at LSU.

Just my opinion - but if the search gets past the top 4 of Riley, Petersen, Jimbo and Aranda at that point I think you have to reevaluate the search, revisit some candidates (fickell) who said they weren’t interested when first asked,
Weigh guys who may have a few marks against them (urban) and then start looking at guys you didn’t really consider (Matt LaFleur, Vrable, Matt Campbell) but as things change might be a fit.

I like to use LaFleur as my “crazy but what if” example - If it becomes 100% Rogers isn’t coming back next year does he want to stick around for the rebuild? (I have no idea if he’d be interested and am not projecting anything - just using that as an example of a guy whose situation changes and is suddenly looking for a new job)

Oh good, another opportunity for people to misspell Belichick.

The NFL season goes into January. The early signing period in Dec makes hiring an NFL coach difficult if you plan to hold a class together.
