I hope we don't see this, but something tells me we're gonna see him get promoted to OC. If the past tells us anything, it tells us that Miles likes to promote people on his staff.

Yeah, we may only have 5 TD passes next season instead of 7 if we dont have him as "passing game CO"...

Miles isn't stupid. I'm pretty sure he's learned his lesson on trying that.

Mettenberger does not fit Gonzales style of read option offense. Remember this guy help run Urban and Mullen's offense for 10 years. I believe Les wants a power I Pro style attach. I would be surprised if Gonzales is the OC.

Even if Miles made Gonzo the OC, our offense couldn't regress even further IMO. THe only way it can go is up...... Hell even if Crowton returned.

Not happening.

something tells me coach miles learned his lesson with malveto. all our program needs right now is a top-flight proven OC with some very good asst. coaches to teach fundamentals. this would be a very bad time to "break in" an untested OC candidate.

No..Miles will go out and find a OC who likes the I-Formation, with the power run. He'll get back to the basics.

why does everyone think BG runs read option just because he was on Mullen's/Meyer's staff?

because he's spent basically his entire career under that offense
