Question should be would he choose A&M over LSU? Very cleverly worded. Does not mean A&M is his number one job if this report is true. Just that he would choose A&M over Texas.

A&M isn't firing Sumlin, and Herman isn't going to A&M if they did. Sumlin's buyout is fricking insane, and they would gain nothing by jumping into this year's coaching frenzy with UT, LSU, Oregon, etc.

it actually makes sense if herman is dead set on staying in texas.

he would have a lot more leeway at a&m.

ut-austin just doesn't seem to understand why so many coaches wouldn't want to coach there.
