I understand how hard it is to be a bulldog fan. It will get better eventually.

Maybe

UGA has a better winning % under, well any coach ever, than coach O.

Well good thing you were able to squeeze out a win over Nicholls St otherwise you'd be 3-5 right now.

Oh and how'd that 45-14 beat down to OM feel?

O needs about 15 wins in a row while Kirby loses 15 in a row

You're talking coaches. I'm talking teams. You're talking past. I'm talking present.

You guys almost beat Vandy. Maybe next year, huh? Good thing UL Lafayette is having a down year or they'd beat you too. Still might.

Its their 5th loss. Ole miss likely doesn't make a bowl. Think about that for a second, and then bury your head in fear that people want to make a hire based on that game

Yea I'm noticing that man. The only reason I asked is bc that was supposed to be one of the meaningful games to evaluate O. If folks don't get my point in asking then I'll just accept their ignorance and go on about my day.

As a few folks have pointed out, it's actually the 5th ole miss loss not the 4th as I said in my original post. I would think that only further supports the point that maybe it shouldn't be viewed as a meaningful win today

You're absolutely correct in that some folks on here are just flat out delusional

The same types who talk about how good auburn really is and how that loss doesn't look so bad.

Farking idiots. Lmao.

Watch that game again, there isn't a well coached team on the field. The theme of the game was like an old mid south wrestling match - loser leaves town.

Yet, for some reason, some people want to say maybe LSU wasn't that bad for that game.

Fact is, both teams were hot garbage.

Speaking of Georgia, didn't you guys also play Ole Miss. How'd that go for Kirby? Oh yeah, a 45-14 loss to Ole Miss.

Knowing that the transitive property does not work in college football, I look at is as a good win.

FSU beat Ole Miss by 11, 45-34
Alabama beat Ole Miss by 5, 48-43
Auburn beat Ole Miss by 11, 40-29

LSU beat Ole Miss by 17, 38-21

LSU held them to only 21 points. Their lowest points scored all season.

I appreciate the reply. I was just referencing the fact that they may not be the caliber of team we thought they'd be

Really? That's not what your thread title says. That is what I was responding to and why I quoted it in my post.

LSU had the benefit of homefield advantage. Those other teams did not.
LSU has a good defense, but the way you tried to make your point here is faulty.

That's right the lsu fan base doesn't count the negative part of Os career. It only matters that he beat ole miss, mizzou, and usm. He's goat now.

Yeap, didn't even pay attention. I still think only giving up 21 to Ole Miss when one score was the result of a LSU turnover in the red zone is pretty darn good regardless of where the game was played.

I was replying to a GA fan that said he can't wait till LSU gets prison raped by Bama. That's a GA fan so be it. You really want to take his side? I defended the team, not O. Re-read my posts.

I'm sure some of you probably are hoping LSU gets slammed by Bama and that's pathetic.

Well shite, I must be off today. I didn't even realize this was a bash Coach O thread. Was wondering about the strange replies I was getting.

Hell, I figured the OP was a LSU fan and was wondering if beating a not-so-good Ole Miss team would somehow affect LSU's shot at a national championship, a sign we should beat Alabama or something.

When, as a fan, you paint winning a game against a traditional rival with a solid offense as being not good enough, you need to reevaluate your understanding of the word "delusional."
