Like, Petrino survived his affair… but it helps that he didn’t make an actionable threat to murder suicide her.
So yea… at least amongst the living & able-bodied, this one has to be pretty high up there. Not sure I could recall a harder fall from grace.

I wish the pic was as iconic & hilariously meme-able as Petrino's neck brace & road rash following his scandal.
Cuz Moore's scandal story-wise (impreganated-mistress, abortion with state funds, loses a dream job, locked out of house by wife, breaks down door, suicide threat, then murder-suicide threat, arrested, mugshot) crushes Petrino's motorcycle crash with mistress, but Petrino's aftermath-pics ensured it's legendary status among embarrassing scandals.

It’s fake. Click the link. 1. They said he was only detained, not arrested. 2. Someone who posted said the jail he would have gone to (had he been arrested) didn’t have orange jumpsuits.

You’d be correct if Petrino’s wreck was factual. Since it was staged, and he really just got his arse beat by jealous fiancé, Petrino is still the king.

You do realize he is jail with the following charges - (3) counts of criminal conduct (1st Degree), (3) counts of sodomy, (1) count of assault and (1) count of illegal seduction...you have the assistant and wife as victims and then there maybe a coverup. The sad thing you have (3) young daughters who will most likely will be with a single parent. And on top of all of that every year these coaches and players are talked with about this kind of stuff. And apparently somebody was not listening to that message.
