We could have had Napier. We could have had Chadwell. Could have had Freeze. Could have had Brown. Could’ve even snagged Monken.
This is like going on a dating show and having a bunch of 8s and 9s lined up for you, all ready and willing to jump your bones and you tell them all to piss off so you marry a West Florida sweathog (Shane Beamer).
Back in 2015, there were some rational reasons to believe the Muschamp hire could work out for us. There is no single reason why we should believe in Beamer. None. The only positive that can come out of this is if he is dirt cheap so we can let him go in 3 years and pray that Chadwell hasn’t moved on to UNC or Tennessee.

It may even be #1 if you're in the Gen-X/Gen-Y generations. I really don't know a second contender. Scott, amazingly, may be up there, too, but there just weren't that many of them around in my day. Shawn was also way up there. Something a out those "s" names I guess.
Most Shane's I knew growing up could also scrap, probably worked in the oil field at some point in their life, and had plenty of cocaine before arriving at a Bonfire house party around 1 am...
