Is kelly more of an offensive or defensive minded coach?

Offense he hires a DC and let's them coach. He adjust his offense to his players ran a spread at Cincy but has become more pro style at ND.

He was DC before.

He was linebacker as a player, and strictly defensive coach as an assistant. In the 30 years since then, he's developed into a HC that calls his offensive plays. It's actually really fascinating and I'm intrigued to hear the full story.

That's why I was thinking he was more defensive minded. Played as a Lber and was a def. Coord....interesting
