Which means this search is just starting.
I can't imagine Fla is all in on Frost without discussing or vetting other candidates that might have an interest.

Success at UCF does not translate to success at Fla in the SEC

Willie have a winning record this year?

We could do worse than Willie but I don't think it's going to be him.

They are certainly doing that but some info is indicating the Frost is the top target.

He seems like a solid coach, but he's awfully young. It could backfire on UF pretty badly.

He’s not that young. He’ll be 43 in January.

Norvell is only 36, so he’s one I’d say is a bit too young for a P5 gig at this juncture.

This is Frost's 2nd year as a HC, and he went 6-7 last year

And the year before that they were 0-12. Ideally you want to minimize the risk by having a longer record to draw conclusions from. But going from where they were to 6-7 is almost as impressive as the jump they’ve made this year.

Oh dang. That sucks (the injury bug).

I'd not be upset with Willie.

Willie is the black Harbaugh brother. He has the best South Florida recruiter in Mario Cristobal and would have the best dc in the sec in Jim Leavitt

Taggart would be an absolute beast to recruit against

Rumor is FSU is his dream job followed by the Gators.

If the Noles had Odell and Mario Mark Richt would lose any control of Dade recruting

Jimbo isnt getting fired, and Willie isnt leaving Oregon. He already addressed the issue.

A conference with Aranda and Pruitt and you're going to say this?

He's not, but he may want a reboot in the next year or 2

While Frost @ Florida gives me some concern, Mullen at Florida, considering what he's done at the second best school for recruiting in Mississippi, frightens the daylights out of me.

He's recently talked about the importance of being able to recruit close to home.

Aren't there more restrictions on head coaches than the assistants? I assumed a bulk of the head coach's recruiting is done by phone and at camps.

I know he's an alum, but it's wild to me that he would take Nebraska over Florida.

Nebraska won't fire him in less than 3 years if he doesn't win a NC.

Because in Nebraska, noone expects you to win a NC.

True.

Frost is a hot name right now. Taking the UF job is risky. He's got upward momentum and he can ruin that pretty quickly if he doesn't win right away because he'll be canned.

He'd have a longer leash at Nebraska and really only Wisconsin to deal with in the Big 10 West.
