Getsy is the latest candidate to receive at least a second interview with New Orleans, which is in the hunt for a new OC after firing Pete Carmichael earlier this month. The 39-year-old spent the last two seasons overseeing the Bears’ offense, but was fired after the year. Chicago made offensive strides down the stretch of the season, but that wasn’t enough to save Getsy’s job.

Interviewing anyone involved on the offensive side of the Bears in the last 15 years is just downright malpractice.

Luke Getsy is hated by all bears fan because of how bad he was.
It’s getting pretty obvious that no decent OC wants to coach here because they know Dennis Allen is a lame duck coach and is most likely getting fired next season.

We hired Dennis Allen. The fired bears OC will par for the course here. He’s in a battle with the Iowa Hawkeyes fired OC for the 1 yr guarantee. All will be canned after we go 5-12 next year.

I can't believe they are interviewing him. But then again I can believe it. No coach worth anything will come here with a lame duck head coach. This team is headed for the iceberg and the rudder is too small.
