The secondary still shits the bed too much for as much talent as it has. I put most of the blame on DA.

The Saints aren't sinking. They'll still have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL next year. If they pick up a good QB like Stafford they'll be in the hunt again.

Payton is a top 5 NFL head coach. He will have the opportunity to get top talent to coach for the saints. Rats aren't jumping. His staff did a great job this year and are getting great opportunities.

There's literally no way they can afford that. They will be 100 mill over the cap.
They will be able to get under the cap, but they won't be able to make any high dollar moves.
