He had that smart arse grin on his face at the end of the pre-kick interview with Holly. CUM then spent the next 3 hours knocking it off.

And I think it chaps his arse that he actually failed at Miami.

Let's keep this straight - he didn't stick around long enough to fail - he "quit" on his dream job. He's got no one to blame but himself for that one.

(And he is a miserable human being, on top of being a quitter.)

It is time to accept the fact that Nick Saban will retire at Alabama.

This is probable, but the question is how soon will that be. He's wiffed two years in a row, and next year will be a big rebuilding year with them having to replace their whole backfield. The natives are already restless. Just because they built you a statue doesn't mean they won't throw a brick through your window. If Bama fans start being Bama fans, I think he'll just say frick it.

What are you looking at? The guy is in his early 60s and could pass for his early 50s, no stomach, hardly any wrinkles. Saban looks like someone who loves his job.

Except for the yellowish complexion he's had for the last couple of years. I don't think his health is perfect.

Replace what whole backfield? Henry will be back, and Coker should take over at QB. Lane oughta be able to get him up to speed. It ain't like when LSU replaces their QB.

take Amari Cooper away and their offense becomes suspect. not saying they'll be terrible but they'll take a step back offensively next year.

Seems to have worked for tOSU - it's what we should have done.

Pure speculation, but I would not be the least bit surprised if he bolts for the NFL (Bears, Jets or Falcons).

Thanks, Jeane Dixon.

Coker was given every chance to beat out a converted running back this year and couldn't pull it off. Maybe he'll step in next year and be all SEC, but I'm not penciling him in on my ballot just yet.

Fair enough - just seemed like he had a better game against us. Of course, that game was 13-13 in regulation, and the Sugar Bowl was a shootout.

Alabama will be sick on D next season. Offense will struggle compared to this season.. if Yeldon/Drake are both gone there will be major growing pains.

LSU fans thought replacing 80% of our offensive production was gonna be easy.. and we ended up with one the worst O's ever

He looks bored. I think that's just his general demeanor.

I watched the post game press conference and I saw typical Saban, i.e. he can't stand press conferences and can't wait for them to end.

If don't think he will ever leave bama for another coaching job. If he leaves if will be because he's sick and tired and too old to put in the long hours that he expects out of himself.

If he leaves it will be to an analyst position on ESPN.
