His comments are calculated, as always. No doubt in my mind he will talk to any coach we try to contact and tell them about the pressure and unrealistic expectations he had to deal with and Miles had to deal with.

He will continue to twist the dagger into the heart of this once woken giant, on and off the field.

And half the people on this board still convince themselves he regrets ever leaving

he's also going to sacrifice a game against O to ensure he faces O the next 3-5 years.

no, saban is just feeling guilty he cost a fellow coach his job. I think that is why he opened his coaching half way house.

He is into reviving coaches now instead of fallen programs. Les, come on down to Tuscaloosa. We need a good recruiter!

Saban has no right to talk about loyalty concerning LSU. He left for greener pastures and more money in Miami. He only lasted 2 years in the NFL and wanted to go back to college BUT he needed a raise to do it.

He has absolutely no right to discuss the handling of Les by LSU.

Is he going to hire Ole Les as an Oline coach?

nonsense, it was a thinly veiled message to Tom Herman, who not surprisingly is Saban's new best buddy

Hating Saban is a lifestyle, you just can't change the perception

What does it matter to another coach what Saban had to deal with while at LSU 12 years ago? I would think Miles' positive remarks would carry much more weight.

I seem to remember it being more money. Maybe not per year, but the length of the contract was more than his existing contract at Miami, but I could be wrong.

It was also a good bit more than other college coaches were making at the time.

Saban has concern for himself only. He certainly doesn't give a shite about LSU. He's concerned only that he might no longer have a guaranteed win against LSU.

Do you really think Saban would actively sabotage LSUs coaching search?

Freakin nut job.

Saban doesn't give a shite about Les Miles or LSU. Any comments he makes are intended only to help himself. We are talking about a guy who called LSU to ask for his job back & then knifed the Shula's with his "well, they don't have an opening" crap.
