Did he seriously consider Texas' offer? Probably not. I agree with Genro that it was just a play by Sexton to get more money. I'd bet Miles more seriously considered Michigan's advances than Saban considered Texas.

Most of our rival fans knew it was never gonna happen.
Some bought in because they wanted to believe.
Now that the dust has settled most of those who bought in have realized that all signs pointed to Saban staying at Alabama. That it was obvious from the beginning and they just missed it.
But a precious few are still in denial
