A 1 loss regular season is enough to get any coach in the country a raise.

Look I known the crazy Gumps in your head think this was a bad season because we lost to Auburn.

The real truth is Bama is 11-1, in a BCS bowl, and barring a major upset by OU, will finish #2 in the country. This was a great season. You cant win every single game. Don't be ridiculous.

I guess Alabama is the only team that has a shitty season if they lose one game. Sucks to be the big dog...

This is a great Bama team. It's a shame we don't have a playoff this year so they'd still be in the hunt.

But the timing of this raise had everything to do with Texas. Don't bullshite a bullshitter.

Saban will retire at Bama. But this is how the game is played. Miles has played us repeatedly for more money and surely will do so again.

Once Miles wins 9 games next year...he should demand another raise.

Yep. There was an Ole Miss thread recently about being good again and I asked how it was defined since we all define it differently. The question was not received well but I was being sincere. Examples are ATM and SoCar. They are both happy about recent seasons as will Mizzou this year. Now I will admit, there was a period not too too long ago that 9 and 10 win seasons would have pleased me too. Lord I'm glad that's over - for now.

Who is denying this?

And Miles never actually considered going to Arkansas either. It was all a play.

That's all anyone is saying bro.

Nick Saban. He said the Texas job was never a conversation.

Sexton I'm sure mentioned Texas and the Texans and whatever other shite he could use to negotiate. Saban isn't involved in the negotiation. Sexton negotiates on Saban's behalf, knowing Saban's true wishes, but will say whatever works.

That's how this works.

"Ok I guess I'll just have to say it. I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."
