He has a 2.5 mil buyout. He's not going anywhere. Who would pay that for an assistant?

Not gonna happen. He would be an idiot to leave FSU for WVU. He is guaranteed the job at FSU when Bowden retires.

What about the infractions? Similar things happened at other places and the HC was fired. What about Bowden?

Has he actually signed the contract that includes the buyout yet?

Do you really think Jimbo would leave FSU for bama? Give me a break. He would laugh in sabans face. Hes gonna be the head coach at FSU in 3-5 years. IF he goes to bama he will have to take orders from dickwhad for another 8 years then who knows after that...HEs got it made in FSU.

Only way he leaves is for a legit HC position at a BCS school.

umm, fellers.... BamaScoop is saying that Jimbo is rumored to be leaving F$U for WVU, not Bama.

Jimbo's from WV and it is also pretty well known that, had RR left WVU last year, Jimbo would have been very high on WVU's list.

It could happen.

Right now, winning at WVU in the next few years looks easier than F$U.

I actually reviewed that clause in the contract and, yes, you are correct.

I was with you until this.

Don't forget that the ACC is a basketball conference. The only teams of note in the conference are VT, Miami and Florida State. Unless UNC improves to make it interesting, the ACC will always be a 3 team race with the occasional surprise team thrown in.

And who is in the Big East that makes it tougher to win than the ACC?

pardon me for jumping in late here fellas, but...

are you high? wvu is twice the job op. right now that fsu is! jimbo would be a moron to turn it down.

he can have a loaded wvu team that is ready to contend next season.'

-or-

he can wait 2-3 years to take over a broken down train wreck that just finished being run into the ground by a senile man in his 80's...

hmmmmmmm?

Boston College is in the ACC also, they are always good for a #23 finish. Plus clemson and gt are decent

I have a feeling that Jimbo is already the HC at FSU, for all intent and purpose, and they are just letting Bowden go out on his timetable rather than force him out, out of respect due him for his career. Why else would you give an OC a 2.5mil buyout?

Thanks clam. I thought that was understood. Jimbo would be a fool to come to BAMA and that isn;t going to happen. He is ready to be a HC right now and that is what I think he should do. If FSU truly wants him they should force Bowden out. BB is on the verge of destroying what remains of the FSU program and make an arse out of himself while he is doing it.

If Depends doesn't renew his diaper contract maybe he will go ahead ans step down.
