I wanted Riley, but I’m ok with the decision, at this point. He wants a cakewalk to a playoff and it’s blatantly obvious he wants to avoid the grueling SEC schedule. See you in 24’.

Cause he’s smart. He knows his offense would not miss a beat in the PAC 12. That’s why I didn’t want him anyway

I wanted him to be the LSU coach. But, it looks like he really doesn't want to coach in the SEC. I don't want a coach like that.

If y'all hire Kiffin then LSU is much better off anyhow.

No, I wanted him, badly. But I don’t want a coach who is afraid of competition. That was something, until now, I didn’t know about him.

No Doubt!

With Bama and GA in the drivers seat, it is an uphill battle for every other school in this conference....including LSU!

You misspelled “shrewd”. All the reasons we gave for him to leave OU still make sense and USC makes even more sense giving the possible easy path to the playoffs. If I had no connection to either school, it’s what I would do for sure.

This is an outstanding determination.

I would still take him, but the dude bitched about the fg at the end and sportsmanship. That was pretty weak.

You don't think that weighed into his decision to leave OU and also not come to LSU?

Two things going on here with OU coming into the SEC..

Wasn’t previously determined. It seemed with him denying the LSU job that he was committed to leading Oklahoma into the SEC.

The entire pitch on here for him was that OU was going to have a tough path to the NC in the SEC, so come to LSU to make it easier. He just picked an even easier path.

Tough day for your squad, maybe sulk elsewhere.

I mean we hung 63 on him and could’ve been 100.
