Riley is the best option, just the odd are against us.
He has run a top program every year with less talent. He is also Clean and young.
Checks boxes. Its whether he really like OU that much to stay. Money will get matched if its money, it wont be b/c of money.

OU is a 7-5, 8-4 program in the SEC with an occasional 10-2 season.
Saban isn't coming, Dabo isn't going anywhere but to Bama when Saban retires. Kirby isn't leaving Georgia. So the only real potential possibility by that standard is Ryan Day.
The only other coaches to have won a CFP game is Urbs and Mark Helfich.

His only really horrible loss to a ranked team was vs LSU in New Orleans, which lets be honest is a home game for the Sugar Bowl for LSU.

You’re right, he’s lost to 19 LSU and some Bama teams and went to OT with Georgia.
Lincoln Riley is 38 and has 3 playoff appearances.
He lost to Bama and that loaded Tua squad that got smoked by Clemson.
Went to OT in 17 with Georgia.
Got slaughtered by 19 LSU.
He had 3 nfl QBs and some amazing offenses those years too.
He is the key,
