WVU is a tough job. Can't buy recruits and there are a ton of better locations to live.

Neither of these statements are true

If RR is the next coach it means the big donors got their way. Rumor is they will open their check books for the most entertaining coach in WVU history.

Wasn’t it a real mess when he left West Virginia - like he was accused of destroying university documents?

Both sides did not behave well. WVU was run by idiots at the time who chased off the biggest donors who wanted to keep RR.

Good old boys were fighting other good old boys for control and power over the mountain. End result was everyone lost.

At this point, I'd take RichRod back over Jimbo.

Rich Rodrigue probably cost LSU3-4 national championships. He acepted the Alabama head coaching position in 2006 then changed his mind. Guess who showed up hat in hand..

Yet but he for sure handed you one by blowing the pitt game in 07. He wins that and WVU plays Ohio State and probably beats them like LSU beat them. Ohio State was old school 3 yards and a cloud of dust slow back then.

Morning update here is that this is probably happening. Rumor is a few top donors are throwing around some cash for NIL/etc

I'm cautiously optimistic. He wasn't my first choice but he's better than Odom or Penn State's offensive coordinator.

Only if Jameis Winston has any eligibility left. Jimbo has been a flop outside of that one season at FSU. Rich Rodriguez won as much as one can expect to win at WVU, Arizona, and Jacksonville State.

I lived in Morgantown for three years. The scenery is gorgeous and WVU is a party school with sloots who love their football team.
