Dudes been everywhere. Signed some top talent. Has Miami averaging 160 rushing yards per game as opposed to our 120ish.

Was also on the table for Vandy HC.

Might get crucified but he knows offense

Miami was in shambles on offense and they arent bad now.

The most impressive thing he’s done his entire career is improve Miami.

Of course they added King who is legit.

Not bad, too connected to Gus though for the perception to be that it’s a good hire

Lashlee is a great coach and recruiter. Unlike Gus, Lashlee was willing to evolve the offense and incorporate air raid concepts from his time under Sonny Dykes.

More than likely, Lashlee is a HC next year. Hard to see him taking another OC job

Miami lucked out this year, the Acc was very weak and they struggled against teams with a good defense. King bailed them out alot this year.

Please sign up Feildgoal Rhett for you OC. The melt of only scoring 10 against Fla or Bama would be worth it to all SEC fans.

Lashlee is a good coach. Malzahn would have been money ahead if he had allowed Lashlee to continue running the offense, but he could not stand that Lashlee was putting up better numbers than him. He took playcalling duties away from him and then the offense went into the shitter. Lashlee left after the season

He's everything this board hates in an OC, and in this case they'd be spot on

Look elsewhere

If Gus would have ever given him full control of the offense at Auburn, he would already have a HC gig somewhere. Rhett is a good coach.

He was 1-3 against Bama with Lashlee as OC, and the lone win came on the Kick Six.

After that first season, the Gus/Lashlee combo lost an average of 5.3 games per season before Lashlee got fired.

Yeah, that could definitely have been the problem.
