It's funny, because things set up really well for Kragthorpe to come in and be very, very successful.
-Senior QB (assuming JJ keeps the job)
-Experienced OL
-Loaded at the skill spots (that doesn't really ever change at LSU)
Even if Gary stayed (which I don't think he should have), we probably would have improved offensively (since we jumped like 30 spots from last year to this year).
Our offense could jump like 30 again spots and Kragthorpe will be a hero.

How about this fact: he ran Louisville into the ground.

Malzahn was under Graham, not Krags.

If you didn't then stop posting crap you know nothing about. Believe it or not head coaches who fail can have success again as coordinators or even as a head coach some place else..... I know it is a shocking revelation to some on this board it would seem.

From the Wikipedia article....
"Although Louisville started the 2007 season as #10 in the AP Poll and returned the majority of the 2007 Orange Bowl champion team, including a Heisman Trophy candidate (QB Brian Brohm), the Cards finished the season a disappointing 6–6, including a loss to Syracuse in which the Cardinals were 37 point favorites. Nine consecutive winnings seasons and bowl games came to an end under the direction of Kragthrope in year one of his coaching tenure at Louisville with a team that had enough talent to see five of its players taken in the NFL Draft."

He could have followed Petrino during his days at Louisville, but then again he ain't an easy guy to follow these days.
