It is all about the fit of the job. And I think LSU is one of those jobs where O would be a good fit whereas he may not be as good of a fit in other gigs.

I don't think LSU needs the "offensive genius" that is the flavor of the month. Once defenses figures out how to slow it down (and misses in recruiting leaves you without the personnel to run the system - see Auburn) that genius label wears off. The following offensive coaches were all hot names at one time:

Rich Rod
Gus Malzahn
Dana Holgerson
Mark Helfrich
Kevin Sumlin
Chad Morris
Brian Kelley

None has had sustain success at a P5 school.

I think O has the potential to be to LSU what Dabo Swinney is to Clemson. A great motivator who hired the right assistants to do their jobs, and keep the cupboard full of talent as great recruiters. Remember, Dabo also was a interim...and was also just a position coach who fired the OC upon hiring and implemented changes and energy into the program. And I think LSU is in a much better position than Clemson was.

With the talent in Louisiana that is abundance I think O will thrive here.

Do you also think that he should be the highest paid Offensive Coordinator in the SEC?

Still waiting on why he will dominate in the SEC after taking over a team someone else built?

We have seen Orgeron build a team and it wasn't pretty.

I bet you don't get an answer to your question; other than the usual STTDB rebuttal.

Dabo didn't have a lot of success until he hired Chad Morris who runs a pass happy version of Malzahns system. Tahj Boyd and Deshaun Watson had a lot to do with his success. Kudos to him for recruiting them.

God I love the logic of people that try to detract what Jimbo has done while propping up O.

Jimbo should work on getting a Cajun accent. That's the only way to win over this fan base apparently

Again...it is about the fit. The actual Fit in a job is what makes it successful. It's why DCs don't take head jobs in mid level conferences because the talent tilts to the offenses and the former OCs as HCs in those conferences can win games 42-38 and look good. But I'll list the reasons why I think he will be good:

1. He's as talented as a recruiter there is and he will keep the cupboard full.
2. In keeping with his theme of being a good recruiter, I believe he can recruit talented coaches to handle the Xs and Os. He can run the program and the CEO (no pun intended duties)
3. He's learned from his mistakes at Ole Miss and no longer meddles in his assistant coaches doing their jobs. Lots of good coaches learn from their mistakes. Bill Belichick failed as a HC. Pete Carroll failed as a HC. Nick Saban failed as a HC. Tom Coughlin was fired from Jax and won two SBs with the Giants. Kubiak failed in Houston, won in Denver.

He's been very good while under an excellent recruiting head coach like miles and Pete Carroll.

His recruiting classes at ole miss ranked like this...

2005 - 30
2006 - 17
2007 - 28

Compared to hugh freeze..

2013 - 7
2014 - 17
2015 - 20

Must not be that great.

And all the other Crap you posted is your opinion based on zero facts.
